Sandy has proven her effective leadership skills by transforming the Kane County Recorder's Office into a shining example of public service.  By embracing technology as a tool for improving customer service, Sandy has:

• Greatly decreased the time it takes to record documents

• Made public records available on the Internet at no charge

• Instituted Electronic Recording services to eliminate paper

• Increased staff efficiency while reducing staff count

• Digitized county records previously only available on paper

• Protected sensitive personal information on recorded documents

• Instituted fraud protection systems and procedures

Sandy is an active member of the Illinois Association of County Clerks and Recorders, Illinois Association of County Officials, and the International Association of Clerks, Recorders, Election Officials and Treasurers.  Through her professional involvement, Sandy is at the forefront of the issues facing a modern county Recorder's Office.
